Distribution Explorer

This tool is a simple spreadsheet analyzer that lets you upload a spreadsheet and explore one column of data. It calculates summary statistics (mean, median, mode, minimum, maximum, range, and standard deviation) and generates both a boxplot and a histogram.

Note: This is an educational tool. Do not use it for sensitive or confidential data.

How to Use

1. Upload your spreadsheet: Click the “Choose a spreadsheet file” button and select the file you want to analyze.

2: Select a column: After the file uploads, use the dropdown menu to choose the column you’d like to analyze.

3. View your results: The tool will automatically display summary statistics along with a boxplot and histogram for your selected column.

Tips & Reminders

1. Do not upload personally identifiable information.

2. If you’re unsure whether your dataset is appropriate, consult your organization’s data policy.
